Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our commercial clients, managing their insurance needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:
 Must hold a valid 0440- Insurance Customer Service Representative License. 2-20 General Lines Agent License (Property & Casualty) would be a plus.
 Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial insurance customer service role
 Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including but not limited to:
 General Liability
 Workman’s Compensation
 Commercial Auto
 Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions)
 Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g. QQCatalyst CRM for Insurance agencies Software)
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
 Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
 Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure

Responsibilities
 The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our commercial clients, managing their insurance needs, and ensuring their
satisfaction.
 This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
 Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients,
addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
 Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding policy coverage, changes, renewals, and billing
 Process policy changes, cancellations, and renewals in accordance with agency and carrier guidelines. Expertise in endorsements.
 Prepare and process certificates of insurance, binders, and other policy-related documentation
 Assist clients with the claims process, providing guidance and support
 Identify and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options to meet clients’ needs
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
 Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
 Stay current on industry trends, policy changes, and new insurance products
 Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
 Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner

 Cross-sell and up-sell additional insurance products and services to existing clients, where appropriate
